We are currently looking for a Quality Engineering Consultant on behalf of our client. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring and improving supplier quality, working closely with production, purchasing, and R&D teams. You will be responsible for driving corrective actions, supporting supplier development, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across both quality and cost dimensions. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with a proactive mindset and strong collaboration skills.

Consultant responsibilities:

• Contact the supplier and provide feedback on what we detect in production or from customers, and demand in both short and long-term corrective actions from suppliers.

• Review 8D reports.

• Drive improvement projects with our suppliers based on quality or cost improvements.

• Work as a project team member in production and SCM projects.

• Participate in supplier evaluation and drive corrective action plans for different activities as PPM reduction.

• Perform annual audits on selected suppliers.

• Work close to production, purchasing and R&D to improve the overall quality of purchased materials.

Consultant background

•Minimum 2 years’ experience from Supplier Quality Engineering.

• Familiar with motor and gears and/or cable and harness

• Familiar with process audits and ISO 9001.

• Familiar with PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.

• Experience in SAP.

• Used to working in teams, have good social competency and good communication skills.
